Just got a call from 213-333-3206 claiming the whole "your gonna crash your computer" "using microsoft windows" "sending error reports" stuff. Told him it sounded like a scam and ended the call. Looked up the number and well you know the rest if you are reading this.
Got a call from MGL BPO at 213-333-3206. I didn't answer and no message was left. I've been doing my own IT for 30 years, would have loved to mess with their minds.
We just received a call from this number and couldn't understand one word of what the caller was saying. I hung up on him, and then checked to see if there were any complaints posted about this number. I see there has been several, so I will program my phone to reject calls from this number.
they called me today and told me about my laptop having errors. they were giving me instructions but I couldnt understand what he was saying he was a chinnese guy so it was really hard to understand. i told him that i couldnt understand any word and he started yelling at me he was really mad. also i asked him how did youi know about my computer errors I have an antivirus and thats not possible he hang up .
They have a new ploy - something about a problem with my lap top. Must be the one I haven't used in 2 months.
Anyway when I mentioned the do not call list they hung up.
Just got this call after hanging up on two calls from another number and one that came thru as a Private Caller. Right about the accents. They got real upset when I said I had three computers and which one were they talking about. Finally on another call from this number I let it ring. It went thru to my answering machine but they didn't leave a message, they were talking to someone else with the same line and were getting very upset because they couldn't get info. Don't know how I was able to hear the call. MGL BPO the other company was VER TEX.
