My caller said he was from "WINDOWS Support" not Microsoft. There is a difference. Microsoft is trademarked, copyrighted etc. windows is not and can't be. Anyone can say they work for windows, Microsoft is a different story.
He got all huffy when I called hin a "pakistani scammer". In retrospect his English was so good he is probably Filippino.
Got the call early this morning with the same, Indian accent, told me my computer had viruses and that they were from Microsoft. This woman had my address also. When I told her she was a scammer she got upset and wanted to know why I thought that. I have had lots of calls from these people using different phone numbers and I told her so. That's when she hung up.
Please post your information to the webpages for those numbers :

Watch out for these liars. They said they got my phone number and address from a public domain server which indicated I had downloaded some software. A man claimed to be a level 5 MicroSoft technician and he was the only one who could remove viruses from my computer. He said his name was Mark Smith, but he spoke with a Filipino accent. He transferred me to another guy who said his name was Russell Watson. They wanted my bank account number so they could do an electronic payment for work to correct my system. I told them no, and then they gave me their address in Clearwater, FL to mail them a check for $290. These are crooks and they need to be stopped.
Initially this number called, asking for my mom by name. He said he was calling about our windows software. When my mom told him we weren't interested and hung up...he called back. In total he called back 6 times. It wasn't the windows scam that bothered me however, he gave us his name as "Roy" (I've never met a man with an east asian accent named roy...just gonna throw that out there) and then proceeded to harass us thru the continuing 6 call backs. He was saying incredibly pervy things, that he was "crazy for the sound of my voice" and asked "what are you doing tonight? I know you'd be good" and things like that. It was disgusting and reached a point where we reported it to 911. After hearing me with the dispatcher he hung up and hasn't called back. I would also like to note the ensuing calls from the same guy were coming from a number in Tokyo. They are clearly bouncing calls illegally off towers.
Caller ID just showed phone number. No message. We do not have Windows software so it would be entertaining to converse with these crooks, but not going to.
