Left message claiming "second enforcement action" blah blah blah. CID comes up as Battle Ground, WA. Courts do not operate by calling people to appear from a garbled spoofed phone number. You must be properly served in writing, and communications will be in writing and there should be a valid phone number for a court of jurisdiction. In short, ignore these morons and block them.

These guys call me every other week. All with middle European accents that they try to disguise. Different names, coming from different phone numbers. Muffled background noises. Trust me, the government writes letters. Do not call the back! Then they think they have you. You can report them but they use rotating phone numbers from various states. (Washington, Florida, etc) Probably won't do any good. Rest easy!
The caller identified himself as Steve Underwood and then it gets muffled. He said something about "this is a second attempt about an enforcement action and ignoring this message will be an intended act to avoid appearing before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense". He repeated the number at the end and advised me to call and cooperate and they would help me.
There is no reason I should be receiving this type of call. They call about every 3 weeks.
It's a scam. Don't call back because they can call the cops with your number and tell them some crap so the cops will raid your house. I talked to a detective and that's what they told me. They told me never call the number back they also spoof calls so it will say it's the police department and it's really a scam. [***] Foreign pice of [***]!
