They asked for the one of my Software guys, he doesn't do IT - She asked to speak to the IT Manager. I told her I needed to more information before I could put her call through or take a message. She totally was unprepared and obviously under trained to respond. She asked to be transferred - when I said I needed a call back number in order to refer her to anyone in our company, she told me it was her company's policy not to give out their phone number. Red Flag I was looking for. After denying that she hung up. The poor girl was so badly trained I now feel a tiny remorse for being tough on her by putting her on the spot, but that's what I do.
Two hang up calls from them today already. They are a daily nuisance. I have my phone set to forward to voice mail after one ring and they never leave a message, but call back incessantly.
Oh my gosh! within the past 8 minutes this number has called 6x! Ive told them to stop calling my place work. And the guy wouldnt listen. Done with these calls, its so annoying when Im trying to answer REAL customer calls!
Sounds like all of you can handle calls better than I can. They would call and ask for specific people who we do have working here. Some worked in IT and others in electrical. I took 18 calls, mostly hangups in less than 2 hours. This is very annoying as I answer phones for over 600 people and I have to answer each call.
Got about 12 calls within the past half hour from this same number from IT Briefs. Most times a different person, but Charles called about 2-3 times. Kept asking for our IT manager. Kindly asked the first 5 of them to send me the information so I may forward it to our IT manager. They accepted the information given and hung up only to have someone else call in 2 minutes. If we could have been interested, we definitely are not anymore.
I received similar calls at work---1 or 2 EACH day for a week.
I've had enough...Filled a 1088E complaint with the FCC.
next time they call I'll give them the case#....that might shut them up :)
