By calling the POLICE (I hope NOT 911). What would you being saying to them (as to the nature of your call)?

It’s almost midnight and I just now got a phone call from someone (i.e. a solicitor)trying to sell me a newspaper subscription from the SF Chronicle and I want to make a complaint because they shouldn't be calling people this late at night." etc, etc...
By calling the police, it would fall into the same category as to this story:
LIKE THE RECORDING OF A PERSON WHO HAD CALLED 911 because....
there was a spider in there house and the person calling, feared spiders, and they were afraid it was going to bite them and wanted the spider out of there house.....
Hi everyone , just dont give out your Credit card number or checks ,, some of this are scam and some time just get your number thru the phone book and whatto get your info ,,if they ask always ask them to send you a statement with name of the busniess and whats is the product ,, if they dont you know its fake.. period.. oh 415 number is from San francisco
Random calls over the last few weeks. Never any message. How can I get these guys to stop. I've already subscribe to the Do Not call Registry. Also had mystery hang up calls from GCS 719-546-6354 and these calls only started after FACS (Macy's collections) 727 556-7300 called despite the fact I had already paid the bill. Is there any connection between FACS and other unwanted calls?
I'm experiencing the same thing. It's really a nuisance. You can't even call them back to tell them to stop! There's always a busy signal. I didn't give them my cell number, because they're not welcome to call me!
