I received a call from this number. It was a genuine call from Charter (now Spectrum) from a automated system to confirm an appointment for a service technician to visit my home. It is not a scam.
Received a phone call at approximately 6:11 PM. Message was concerning an appointment that we made with a company called Charter. It is not Charter Communications. If you call the 800 number and press 10 zeros a real person answers. I asked, "what kind of Charter company are you." Response: "Why what is your problem?" Call Charter Communications direct. If you search on the internet there is no 800 such as this. Also, the 800 is not listed on Charter Communications. The also said someone with a Government ID must be present at time of appointment.
