I had the same issue with Michael Montero very abusive and nasty. We agreed to settle a balance for August 22,2009 and I get a letter stateing that they will withdraw moies from my account on 7/22/09. This idiot straight out told me that oh! well this is the date so I told him that I will be canceling my checking acct. I was in good faith to pay my debt in august but then I get this wicked letter. Some thing has to me done with this guy Michael Montero. I bet this is not even his real name.
These people keep calling and asking for someone who must have had the phone number before me. I keep asking them to stop calling and to remove my name from the call list. They hang up pn me when I do. I am so sick of it, they keep calling
Someone from this number repeatedly calls my cell phone. I answered once and they took an aggressive tone with me, telling me I owed a few thousand dollars on a credit card, and demanded I give them my SS#. I have never owned a credit card in my life and when I said that, I was called a liar. Also, they ask for the wrong person. My name is NOT Elizabeth. They also call at inconvenient times, midnight and one a.m even, and don't bother to leave a message after rudely waking me up. This needs to stop.
This number calls my cell phone at least 10 times a day. AFTER I have already spoke to them to tell them that the person they are looking for is not at this number. They ask my name and to verify my SS#, like I would just tell them ...
I never answere when this # calls, other than two times , which was the first two times thy called and I got nothing on the other end both times, so now I never answer yet they call up to 4 times a day, including nights and allows it to ring forever "no voicemail set up" and it drives me somewhat crazy, but would more if I actually answered..lol anyway,I have had my new phone # a total of a 6 days, sad but true :/
