I had the same issue with Michael Montero very abusive and nasty. We agreed to settle a balance for August 22,2009 and I get a letter stateing that they will withdraw moies from my account on 7/22/09. This idiot straight out told me that oh! well this is the date so I told him that I will be canceling my checking acct. I was in good faith to pay my debt in august but then I get this wicked letter. Some thing has to me done with this guy Michael Montero. I bet this is not even his real name.
Michael Montero was very nasty and abusive as he was calling to settle a past due Sears bill I have. I told him the account was in dispute. He treated me poorly and told me he would come after all my assets. He was demanding my checking account number.
This number calls me over and over and told them to stop because I don't know who the person they are asking for. The collection agency has yet to stop calling me.
This number 636-200-0119 is from a man named Stone at a collection agency.. if you can find on cable channel..there is a documentary called "maxed out" It aired on 05/19/08 and it tells about collection agencies and how they opperate..a must see from beginning to end...very educational.
