I had the same issue with Michael Montero very abusive and nasty. We agreed to settle a balance for August 22,2009 and I get a letter stateing that they will withdraw moies from my account on 7/22/09. This idiot straight out told me that oh! well this is the date so I told him that I will be canceling my checking acct. I was in good faith to pay my debt in august but then I get this wicked letter. Some thing has to me done with this guy Michael Montero. I bet this is not even his real name.
I statrted recieving calls from this "company" a couple a months ago. I thought it was strange because i know who I owe mony to (and who i don't owe money too). I have never recieved a letter from these people. Note: a creditor must send a letter advising that they are attempting to collect a debt in the name of another company and any information obtained would be used for that purpose. The letter would provide payment options as well. Failure to provide this letter is against Federal law. Stay alert citizens! These scamers know there's a sucker born every minute. Don't be one of them!
This company calls me 3 to 4 times everyday and leaves me voicemails, they think i am Elizibeth renoso i called them to take my number off and now they call me more than ever, when i try and tell them i don't know this person they hang up and then call me 20mins. later with a different number. here are the numbers(866)489-4524 and (808)499-7129 and (636)200-0119
I got a phone call today from this company - Michael Monterro - "nice" person! RUDE, DISRESPECFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL! This was for a bill that is LESS than $500 that I, honestly, did not realize was still outstanding. Needless to say I hung up on him - after I told him he'd be hearing from my attorney. His comment to that was "Oh, you can afford an attorney, but can't pay your bills, huh?" Would YOU hire someone like that???

I have been getting phone calls for three days from these people. Today was the last straw! I think I spoke with someone named Eric J, who asked me for my name spelling four times, then yelled at me" Dont speak to me like I'm one of your children" when I became annoyed. HE THEN ASKED IF I was LIVING IN MIAMI...WHICH I AM NOT..AT THAT POINT HE SAID, "WHATEVER" AND HUNG UP. So I called back and asked for a supervisor.I spoke with a Terry Orr, who says he is a supervisor. I complained to him and he stated that rudeness was not tolerated....and that he was removing me from their call list.....We'll see. I'm also sending a letter.
