I set up an appointment & picked late afternoon so they would get caught in rush hour. A local guy shows up and hands me a card for Monarch Builders (CA Entity Number: C3621536) with a contractors license number on it. I told him I was expecting someone from Superb Builders (CA Entity Number: C3520533). He said it was the same company and showed me a bunch of pre-printed folios that contained their insurance, license number and other stuff. I don't get one of those until I sign a contract. Now I have enough to take them to court.
Ok i just got this call 2 mins ago and he ask "Hi Ms. XXX"( my mom) and i told him she is not here then he said "ok" and hang up. And I thought it was a weird call lol so i came here....SO I AM RIGHT!!! So many weird call like this lately. Last time got a ghost call for some Toll Free Phone a few times everyday...so i just unplugged my phone jack line XD.
Just received a call. He stated he was following up on a call last Spring. He wanted to know if I had any work for him to do around the house. When I asked him how he acquired my number he said from Home Depot.
When I asked him for his name he wouldn't give it, said he has six daughters, and it is almost Thanksgiving. Then he hung up.
Another call from this number "Unknown Caller,", saying he was a contractor. I usually don't answer but did today because I was expecting a call from a 650 area code and not sure I was familiar with that number. I told the person that I had previously asked to be deleted from this number and that I never dealt with anyone who solicited my business by phone.He said he had never called but I have record that I reported it in September - another time when I actually answered.
This is the 4th telemarketer call today and I am really annoyed - I usually don't answer. There has to be a way to stop this.
