I set up an appointment & picked late afternoon so they would get caught in rush hour. A local guy shows up and hands me a card for Monarch Builders (CA Entity Number: C3621536) with a contractors license number on it. I told him I was expecting someone from Superb Builders (CA Entity Number: C3520533). He said it was the same company and showed me a bunch of pre-printed folios that contained their insurance, license number and other stuff. I don't get one of those until I sign a contract. Now I have enough to take them to court.
Dirt bags have been calling with spoofed number for months. I picked up today and once again demanded that they stop calling-just filed yet another complaint to FTC at donotcall.gov site.
Caller calls me by my name. Asks if I had my termite problem resolved. Scam. I told him termites need to eat. He said he would like to come by and give free estimate. I started laughing and hung up. Hope the don't scam somebody who would fall for this stuff.
I've been getting daily calls from this number for months. I answered for the first time last week,and it's about painting. I've had a man call and a woman call. They have my old address. I picked up the phone yesterday and told them to stop calling. The man shouted I love you. I'm so sick of these calls. What can be done?
