I came home from work and had a message from this woman stating that I had to call this number and gave me this phone number to call back on. something about being a state and legal problem and I had to use this case number she gave me. Then she said I had to call back before they started legal action. My boss told me if if was legal action, they would contact me by mail and not leave a message on the phone. Apparently this is a scam, so i just didn't call it back. She didn't give a company or even an lawyers name. if it was a legal situation, they would of at least given the name of the lawyer or attorneys office name.
Caller was Oracle Financial Group regarding Western Sky payday loan. Knew my husband's personal information and threatened legal action and filing papers with the court in a county we used to live in. Says they have been sending mail, but we have never received anything. This is not the first time it's happened, and it has been with different numbers.
Got a call from the number 716-242-5202 stating she was Joanne Smith with the Oracle Group that I needed to call her back immediately about fraud charges placed on me in the county I live in. ---SCAM!!
HELP!!! These people keep calling and threating me at work! They call ALL the time from different numbers. I have tried to speak to these people ( Oracle Financial Group ) and they will not give me any information, just that I have a court date and I have a warrant and I have paperwork from our court system. They are very rude and are very stern I owe a debt! What can I do to press harassment charges against these people? I live in Wisconsin and I am going to get in trouble for these people calling my work. Also, they sent garnishment paperwork for my HR department and I to sign and return to them? And he was going too send the police out there to arrest me if I don't pay this balance... Correct me if I'm wrong don't you have to file papers/ document in person..not over the phone ...anyone can lie about who they are ....
Received calls from these folks a while back. I went ahead and filed complaints on them with every bureau, attorney general I could. Ended up getting responses thru all of them from a Nick Shaw stating there is no one by the names of the reps that called me so I must be making it all up to get out of paying my debt (which I don't owe them - the "verification" they sent me was photo copies of a section of my credit report conveniently with the company name who holds the debt removed because its not them! And they illegally obtained my credit report which is fraud, check yours for hard inquiries if you've received calls from them). Anyways the point is, is that he is right on one thing, those people don't work there, just like there isn't a Nick Shaw that works there either! His real name is Nick Szalkowski. Anyways if you're planning a lawsuit against them probably a good idea to have his info, since he claims to be the compliance officer.
