Got a call from same number this morning. There are two people involved - First caller said his name is John Cruz and told me I have police complaint and legal affidavit against me. Asked me to call back once his supervisor is there. Later his "so-called" supervisor called by name David Marshall and said the same thing. Asked me to settle the matter quick. Was talking about the state tax evasion. The moment I said my CPA will contact you, he said we cannot help you and hung up. I called my local police department and let the officer know about this. He said these guys must be pranksters - ignore them or tell them that you have asked the state/local police to get involved - and they should back out.
I got the same call person came on the line saying he was officer Ron Davis.
wanted t speak to our Dr. told him that i know who he is and he is no police officer, he is a scammer and i
have the police on ther other line (This scammer tried this 15mins before on ou other line) he told me to
F*** you and hung up!
Can we not get this person arrested? how do I report this and to whom?
We just Received a call today 7/26/13 @ 2-3 pm from this Number. They are very persistent...Please, Please be careful on this # They are Scammed people!!!!!
Yesterday, July 25, 2013 at 3:54 p.m., I got phone call from 732-964-0148 - and caller id was saying it was out of area. The person said he was IRS officer - he told me that he was from state of NJ investigation office. - He went on to tell me I have 3 outstanding arrest warrants/legal affidavit pending against me that I had not responded to and that the call was being recorded with 3 attorneys listening in. He told me if I do not understand English, I have a translator and if you do not comply, we will deport you. He went on tell me that since I am a nice person with no prior history and good credit report, I can help my self and take care of this stuff today without arrest warrants going out. If I do not comply then tomorrow I will be arrested. He told me that this conversation was being recorded. he asked if I was listening and I told him I understand English and do not need a translator. He knew my name and home address.
A person claiming to be a police officer asking to be called back because he wants to start a criminal investigation against me. He did not name the 'police station' he was calling from.
