Got a call from same number this morning. There are two people involved - First caller said his name is John Cruz and told me I have police complaint and legal affidavit against me. Asked me to call back once his supervisor is there. Later his "so-called" supervisor called by name David Marshall and said the same thing. Asked me to settle the matter quick. Was talking about the state tax evasion. The moment I said my CPA will contact you, he said we cannot help you and hung up. I called my local police department and let the officer know about this. He said these guys must be pranksters - ignore them or tell them that you have asked the state/local police to get involved - and they should back out.
My husband reeived yesterday similar to everyone who wrote here from ph# 17327039219. Person calling said his name is David Miller calling from Criminal investigation CRA department & we owe $45000 in taxes. He said we can settle out side of the court & if we dont't pay these taxes , we may be arrested & loose citizenship. Guy was very intimidating on the phone. My husband kept denying it so he made him talk to his supervisor(James Jorden). He too finally got mad & hang up. they even gave call back number 1-732-964-0148 in case if he decide to settle outside of court.
If anyone who get calls like this please report to the police as we have done so those criminals can be arrested & penalized.

"Officer" Parrish called the other day and had someone say I had a criminal investigation against for 3 counts. It was bogus! Both men had thick Indian accents. They knew my mailing address and were rude. I questioned him and he got extremely upset. During the call, a blocked number appeared on my phone, so I answered. I hung up yo call Parrish back, the phone rang twice then a fax sound was in my ear. Parrish said he was in Asheville, NC.
