This is a phishing scam. Got a call and VM this morning from this number. The voicemail did a good job of making it sound like a legitimate call from American Express, with a reference number and extension. I called the actual American Express and they confirmed that this is not one of their numbers. Do not give any information to this number.

Two calls in a row from this number and no message left. It is AmEx, but I have not filled out a credit application with them nor do I have a credit card with the company.
Purportedly calling about my American Express (I don't have one). Then they stated "it's your business American Express" (I just left working for this place). They asked for my date of birth and social security number. I asked for the name of the company they were calling about; they refused and stated that as soon as I gave them my DOB and SSN they could confirm. I told them that THEY called me and I refused to give any info. They then rang off.
