This is a phishing scam. Got a call and VM this morning from this number. The voicemail did a good job of making it sound like a legitimate call from American Express, with a reference number and extension. I called the actual American Express and they confirmed that this is not one of their numbers. Do not give any information to this number.
I worked for American Express and 801 945 5000 is an AMEX phone number. As far as I know American Express is the only company who has numbers that begin. with 801-945-
Because caller ID can say anything NEVER give out personal information on a call you did not make, no matter what. Say "Karen", what are you doing here? Why would you search for & post about, a phone number you think is good? How did you "just happen" to think today is a great day to post about this number on 800 notes? This is what makes "spot the Shill" so easy, because nobody who comes to 800 notes is happy about the call they got.
I just received a call from this number to verify a transfer from my American Express savings account which I did indeed schedule online over the weekend. They called because it was the first transfer to a newly added account I previously set up.
