Just got a call from these idiots. They claim I owe for an unpaid payday advance, but could not provide me with the name of the company that issued it, nor could they tell me the date when the transaction took place, so I could review my bank statements. When I ask her, she refused to listen and threatened me with wage garnishment. She claimed to have my IP address, my social security number, etc. She also does not know the limits on payday loans in California. All payday transactions are settled through arbitration, not the courts. How can these people live with themselves?
They call every day and I don't pick up. They left a message that according to my name and social security number I'm one of the parties--the claim may result in a settlement our office is currently doing final assessment so we are contacting all of the parties before the following deadline. Call this office immediately to speak with the claims processor. SCAM trying to get my information.
Received a scam message from "God knows who" and I don't want to know. I know a scam when I hear it, see it, or smell it. I just hope people don't fall this crap. All I can say is beware of all callers you don't know regardless of what info they might have. Delete it and place the call on a BLOCK NUMBER LIST. It's income tax season and the scum come crawling out of what ever rock they've been hiding under. Just be smart!!!!!!!!!!!
