Just got a call from these idiots. They claim I owe for an unpaid payday advance, but could not provide me with the name of the company that issued it, nor could they tell me the date when the transaction took place, so I could review my bank statements. When I ask her, she refused to listen and threatened me with wage garnishment. She claimed to have my IP address, my social security number, etc. She also does not know the limits on payday loans in California. All payday transactions are settled through arbitration, not the courts. How can these people live with themselves?
I just got a call from this number also and the voicemail stated they had a package pertaining my social. I called back and the lady had my name, my driver's license #, the last four of my social, the county I live in, the old address of where I apparently did the cash loan and the IP address of the computer I used. She even had the bank I use to bank with and the account info. Stating they issued me to go to court for not paying it and when I asked her for the # to the lender she said she couldn't give that to me. That if I didn't take care of it I can get my license taken. I told her I will not go to court or pay anything. She was like so do you want me to close it out well [***] yeah. If you are closing it out why you calling me in the first place.
I recieved the same message today. I called the people back and asked for a letter stating the information. They sent me a letter in an email and when I looked up the info, it was similar to an company with the same name of Mediation Processing Servicing. However, their logo is different and all phone numbers are different.
I just received a call from 904-862-2944. They said they are mediation services out of Jacksonville, FL. They said I took out a payday loan 7 years ago and that if I don't act now that I will have my wages garnished and have to go to court. I called them back about 50 times calling them a scam..
