These Non English speaking people started calling me after I opened an email about a credit card offer. They have harassed my friends, myself and  are tenacious calling 6 0r 10 times a day with all kinds of illegal threats. I blew there calls off until they started calling my friends telling them more or less I took out a payday loan (which I NEVER HAVE) and used them as references making them think they were cosigners and telling them I owed for these loans. My friends are very upset about receiving these calls and
these mafia type people are scaring them and somehow they believe. I believe they owe for defamation, slanders and harassment. I cannot believe in this supposedly Democratic country this type of thing can happen. I want to sue them and put a stop to this once and for all. THE ONLY THING THAT IS GOING TO STOP THEM  IS PUTTING THEM IN JAIL AND RECEIVING MONETARY CONFIRMATION FOR THIS TRAUMA. PLEASE TELL EVERYONE WHAT IS HAPPENING AND TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY. I do not believe they are calling from the US as they do call with a zillion different phone numbers at ungodly illegal hours. CALL CONSUMER ADVOCATE CLARK HOWARD INUDATE HIS CONSUMER HOTLINE AND FILE A CLAIM (EVEN IF IT IS IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT) AGAINST THEM. I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND PLAN ON DOING THIS TOMORROW. THEY WENT OVER THE EDGE WHEN THEY SOMEHOW GOT MY FRIENDS NUMBER AND GOT HER RATTLED. I HAVE CALLED THE WHITE HOUSE AND FILED A COMPLAINT ALONG WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION

Claimed Debts Were Owed Despite Consumers’ Disputes
A nationwide debt collector has agreed to pay a civil fine of more than $1 million to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that it violated federal law by inaccurately reporting credit information and pressing consumers to pay debts they often did not owe.

According to the FTC’s complaint, the company and two of its officers illegally tried to collect invalid debts and reported them to the credit reporting agencies without noting that consumers disputed them. In addition, even after receiving information from consumers that a debt was paid off or did not belong to the consumer, the company continued to assert, no longer with a reasonable basis, that the consumer owed the debt, without trying to confirm or dispute the consumer’s information, in violation of the FTC Act. DO NOT LET THESE NON CITIZENS STEAL ANYMORE FROM AMERICANS!!!!

I have received several calls in the same day all sounding like they were from India or Pakistan.  The first one was from Morgan Law in L.A. and I finally got the guy to tell me who it was that I was suppose to have borrowed money from, it was a company called US Cash Advance. I went to there website and right on there site is tells about these middle eastern accent men trying to scam you by saying the are going to sue you and that you can only get a loan from them by going into the store in Arkansas.
I then got another call (sounded like the same guy) and the law firm was Cooper Law Firm and it was the same thing, we are going to sue you if you don't send us money
Then I got a call from Anderson Law Firm in Miami and it was the same thing accept he called me from 786-275-5079. When I told him he was a scam artist, he did not understand and hung up and after I called him back and he answered with Anderson Law Firm, I repeated it back as I was writing it down and he hung up on me. I really feel sorry for the older people who probably get scared and get scammed by these jerks. I don't have ill feeling toward the middle eastern people, all races have criminals and [***]. I just hope these people get caught and end up in jail and gets a big boyfriend for company for a year or so, so they can see what it feels like to be taken advantage of ( SC**WED) like they have been doing to some people who can just get by and were only looking for a few extra bucks till payday to fix the car or feed the kids!!!!!!!!!

I received 2 calls one at work and at home.  jonathan white from Anderson Law firm in Miami FL. heavy foreign ancient, he asked if i have my lawyers number and it was about a non payment of a cash loan. i checked in the internet to see if they're legit, no they're not.  the call at home i answered, i asked is this jonathan white from anderson law firm, he said yes, i asked several questions, he didn't answer.  i told him that thank goodness for caller id, i have your number and i'm going to file a complain with the fbi, and not to call me again and hung up.  i'm going to file a complain.  best advice is write down the number, if you have caller id, it's better, don't pick up

I just received a call from somebody named Chris saying they were from Anderson Law Firm, however they used the number 786-237-8815.  My story is similar to the other posts.  He called my work and my home and said there is action against my SSN.  He gave me the three options of disputing it with a letter faxed to them, pay the full amount due or settle for a lower dollar amount.  I told him I never received an advance from Cash Advance America and that under no circumstances would I pay them any money.  He then said the I would receive a subpoena to show up in court within 40 days.  When I told him they would receive no money from me again he just hung up.

I have also been receiving numerous calls from these people. Extremely difficult to understand heavy Indian accents. They have been calling my home and workplace making threats of a law suit and had my personal information. My co-workers were so scared about it they tried to contact me at home but by then I'd unplugged my phone. They used the names Chris Hill and Robert Black and wanted me to western union them money to an Officer Johnny Parker in India. Of course I didn't do any such thing. As if! The phone numbers they used were 786-275-5988 and 786-322-8815.
